How the idea came out of becoming Piano Technician?

I was questioned many times by my students such as "how to buy a good piano? or used piano?" etc over the past years. It is, actually, somewhat embarrassing question for piano teachers, as the differences between piano music and piano technology, art and machinery, listening music tone and listening beats rate.
I became more aware of the necessity of the knowledge of piano technology could be helpful for my students and friends.

Besides, just a few people knows that my first major in school was mechanical engineering. No doubt, Machinery produces beautiful sound. Piano Tuning & Repair is an exquisite and pleasant work.

1, Never put your piano near a window or where it can receive direct sunlight!
2, Never put your piano in an area where there is sudden temperature change!
3, Never put your piano next to a wall heater or air conditioner vent!

All These things can cause your piano to go out of tune more than normal. Your piano should be tuned and serviced at least once a year. Every six months if it used often.
